Demystifying Business Ownership:

As we embark on the journey from $0 to Hero in 90 Days, it’s crucial to dispel common myths and misconceptions surrounding the initiation of a business. Many individuals harbor fears and doubts that often stem from misinformation. Let’s address these and pave the way for a clearer understanding.

Common Myths vs. Realities:

Starting with the exploration of common myths and misconceptions about starting a business, one prevailing belief is that it requires significant capital. However, the reality is that the digital landscape has equalized entrepreneurship, allowing for low-cost and even no-cost startups to get in the game. This has made business ownership more accessible than ever. A term that most business leaders are very familiar with today is OPM (Other People’s Money). Making proper use of OPM to fund your projects can also be instrumental in getting started, growing, and enhancing your business. If you are interested in finding out more about how to properly make use of OPM without incurring fees and debt in the process, as us about it during on of our weekly meetings or in the group discussion.

Another misconception we dispel is the idea that success is immediate. In truth, building a successful business takes time, effort, and persistence. Instant success is rare; patience is key. That being said, success isn’t exactly an elusive animal, such as that of Bigfoot for example, that only a lucky few will ever see. The Founder of UBN, Chris Miller, has started more than 6 businesses in various fields and industries over that past 10 years, all of which have been successful. This is because he understands that there is a formula to win by in today’s marketplace, and following the formula goes a long way to ensuring the survivability of a business. As we continue through the lessons, this formula will become clearer to you as we walk you through the development of your own business model from $0 to Hero in 90 Days.

Additionally, there’s a myth that entrepreneurship is only for the highly educated. On the contrary, success in business is not solely dependent on formal education. Many entrepreneurs have thrived with practical skills and a willingness to learn. In fact, a great number of multi-billion-dollar organizations were founded and run by men and women who never even completed college or even High School. The thing to remember is that inspiration comes from little moments and from little observations. It can come to anyone, and everyone. Inspiration doesn’t discriminate or move on if it finds you dropped out of school. It sticks with you. What you do with it once it is there is another matter. Take a look around you. Everything you see was once merely a dream of someone else. The book on your shelf or the light in your room, or the computer and internet we use every day; all from simple inspirations. I once invented a portable air amplifier for people with emphysema that could draw in regular air from the environment and concentrate it to provide the same effect as a tank of oxygen, all because I saw a lady struggling to get up a flight of stairs with an oxygen tank on a wheely device. Inspiration comes from anywhere, and to anyone willing to pay attention to it. You too can change the world.

Value = Money:

Many years ago now, UBN’s Founder, Chris Miller, was in a group discussion at a business conference he attended when seven little words changed the course of his life forever. We he heard them, he instantly realized a crucial concept, so simple and so obvious had been right in front of him, but he had completely overlooked it because to him it was so common to just give away his advice to those who sought it from him. They had been doing so his entire life, and he had been giving it his entire life. Suddenly, however, there was another perspective being offered, not even to him, but to another person in the room to which he just happened to overhear.

Those seven words have now launched over seven businesses and more than twelve different product lines, and those words were:

“Any information can become an informational product.”

These words, spoken by Chris’ now friend, Terry Wilson, opened Chris’ eyes to an overlooked, but key concept: information holds value, and value equals money. In the digital age, information is a valuable commodity. The ability to gather, analyze, and leverage information is a key asset in the business landscape today. Throughout this course, we’ll delve deeper into this concept, emphasizing its role in creating value and generating income for you, and we’ll help you along the way as you search for the value in the skills and knowledge that you have already which can be traded for dollars in the open markeplace.

Understanding the reality of business ownership and dispelling myths sets the stage for a mindset shift. In the next segment, we’ll explore the tangible benefits of owning a business, reinforcing the notion that it’s an achievable and rewarding endeavor.

Stay tuned as we unravel the keys to success on your journey from $0 to Hero in 90 Days.
